One of my two best friends had her 18th birthday and we went to suprise her at 00:00 on her b-day. This was my gift to her as I know that one of her favourite is V for Vendetta. The text arount it is my own creation and a personal letter to her. Paper is aproximately in the size of A2 or A1, probably A2 because the middle paper is slightly smaller than A3. And her room has blue colours in it so thats why the blue is chosen as she likes all the colours
We had to do another interesting work in our lettering class. This is in younger uncial font. As the subject I used my current favourite song lyrics.

Previous weekend was all for myself. In over three months I was home all weekend. So as usual I did the things I didn't need to do, calligraphy. For some time now I have been translating latin quotes from a calligraphy book. I wanted to do some small yet catchy quote or saying just for the decoration purposes. And I managed. Per Aspera ad Astra is written in texture (one of my favourite gothic fonts) an Nemo Nascitur Artifex in latin font. Well all the photis have gone through instagram filters, as usual. :)

This is something old and blue, a narrow grotesk. We made these in our lettering class. In estonian flower starts with "L" so I drew a flower, it suposed to be a lily, but well it can be just a flower. Also I can honestly say this is one of the best picture I have ever drawn. There was also a bunny ( in estonian jänes) but the letter J was drawn a bit wrong.
